Vitamin Powder for Reptiles?

I got the reptile food for my Green Anole dusted with the vitamin powder, and there is ALOT left over from the dusting, I was wondering, could I mix this with the water I spray in the cage for my green anole to drink so he gets the vitamins from the water too? or will this hurt him?

If you get a shaker from store you can keep the dust in the bottom and not waste it.


If you mix with water it could be pain to clean up.

i myself have a gecko, and i put vitamin powder on his food. But i wouldn't mix it with water, because the water he or she doesn't drink will sit there and the powder will make whatever it is on white and your green anole might not drink the water if there is vitamin powder in it. haha and yes they can taste it
I would just use it for their food.


If you use it in the Water I'm thinking it would cause you more work to clean the cage...making it look hazy all the time because of the powder and water mixed then dried to the glass.
i use the same vitamin powder for my iguanas and yes it is good for them to have it in their water as well as their food
