Currently am I wondering if I am allowed to bring foot powder and cough drops to army basic training?

You'll be able to buy foot powder, don't take it with you, it will go to waste. You MAY NOT possess cough drops, they are considered ';candy,'; and you'll have to throw them away. If you get a cold, the infirmary will give you Sucrets, but your DS will keep them in a box and give you a daily supply every morning. People used to buy sucrets for a few dollars a piece in basic (the people who didn't need them to begin with...)Currently am I wondering if I am allowed to bring foot powder and cough drops to army basic training?
Foot Powder, yes you will be able to bring it with you, it is considered personal hygiene, as long as it is just a basic foot powder, nothing too too fancy.

Cough Drops, as long as they are plain, no fruity or flavorful ones, just the plain nasty hall ones. When i went through basic they took us to a shoppette to get anything we didnt have or needed like three times, the trips aren't frequent so make sure you have enough of everything you need, also try not to go to sick call because then you will miss training and possibly get recycled (start over) good luck!Currently am I wondering if I am allowed to bring foot powder and cough drops to army basic training?
you can bring it but they will probably either make you throw it away or send it back home. I wasn't in the Army but I was in the Navy and basically one of the first things they made us do was throw away or send back home all of our personal effects that were not on their specific list of things to bring to basic training.
No, you will not be able to. They will have you package it up and mail it home-at your expense.
